TOPICS 2011.07.28 で紹介した論文に続き、地域薬局における Public health 活動についてレビューを行った研究です。（今のところオープンアクセス、期間限定かもしれない）

この研究はscoping study というもので、1985年1月から2010年11月までに掲載された英国内外の地域薬剤師のpublic health 活動についてまとめた論文や薬剤師会や公的機関等がまとめた報告書などをレビューしたものです。
研究者らは論文以外の 6つの grey literature を含めた 72の研究をレビューし、うち59について次の14のカテゴリーに分け、それぞれの研究のエビデンスレベルについて記しています。(( )内の数字はpaper の数）
- Healthy eating and lifestyle advice(8)
- Immunisation and vaccination services(4)
- Provision of emergency hormonal contraception(7)
- Prevention and management of alcohol addiction(1)
- Prevention and management of drug abuse, misuse and addiction(6)
- Provision of smoking cessation services(9)
- Infection control and prevention (such as STIs, tuberculosis and blood-borne infections)(6)
- Promoting men’s health(2)
- Prevention and risk assessment of osteoporosis(2)

アルコール依存症や健康なライフスタイルの提案など、引用文献をだどることにより、海外における地域薬局におけるpubulic health 的活動の新たな取組みを知る上で参考となる論文です。
ツイッターを見ると、東薬大の土橋氏らを中心に世界先進国での薬局薬剤師の活動を過去10年間の文献学的研究を通して明らかにする研究が国内でも開始されているようです（期待しています）が、国内においてもエビデンスが高くなくても、これまでに行われてきたさまざまな取り組みをレビューして、こういった視点で整理を行い、新たな地域薬局活動への展望を示す必要が求められています。
